Within, you will discover the symbol of the martyrdom of Christians in the arena, the naumachia, a naval battle that was simulated for a show. Like walking in a movie, Spartacus offers special commentary for you to be able to imagine a scene in the past as you discover the ruins within the Colosseum. You will spot the majestic awning velarium which provided shade for the spectators who watched the gladiatorial games in the blistering sun and heat of Ancient Rome.
