The gods of the Palatine
With thunder storms, this story begins as your narrator, Apollo, god of the sun welcomes you to the ancient Palatine. This mystical place was once the foundations of the Roman civilization. As you admire its ruins, you will discover Romulus hut and learn the story of the twins Rumulus and Remus, and how they were protected by a wolf. You will see the Domus Augustus, built by emperor Augustus who succeded Julius Cesar, and discover the Domus Flavia, the palace of many Roman emperors. The tour ends in the Domus Augustana, the largest imperial house built in the Palatine where Apollo will tell you the ancient legend of the emperor and his wild horse .
