The story of Bossanova
Follow the voice of Priscila, a charming Carioca that takes you to explore one of most famous beaches on earth: the Ipanema beach. Starting from the best spot to watch the sunset in town, the "pedra do arpoador" you will learn the story of the origins and the musicians that created Bossanova. As you walk, you will hear that Priscila can´t really sing, but she charmingly tries to make you relate to some of the best known Bossanova songs. The walk will take you to the Park of the girl of Ipanema, where you will get to know the legend of the two brothers of the hill of Vidigal, which inspired Chico Duarte to write a song.After that, you'll get to learn about the similarities of Bossanova and Samba, especially its unique instruments. Also, you will discover the story of Tom Jombin as you admire his monument. Pass by the famous posto 8 and enjoy the view of the beach that inspired the song of the Garota de Ipanema and the legend of this beautiful girl. Your tour will end passing by the street of Vinicius de Morais as you learn his story.
